Each session will be presented in a bespoke way that reflects the appropriate key stage that the NQT is currently teaching in. LA consultants and experienced teachers across the local authority will share good practice and helpful ideas to support NQTs in their first year of teaching. Sessions are designed in a way that will compliment school practice and support each individuals school policy in relation to teaching and learning.

Gymnastics competition for year2, year3/4 and year 5/6 pupils

The competition will take place at Sobell Leisure Centre

Schools can enter 1 or all 3 age categories. the competitions are seperate but will be completed at the same time. The event has been split into 2 time slots, 10-12 and 12-2 schools should choose to attend one of these sessions. Please use this link to request a place for the 10am-12pm slot only.

The event will follow the british gymnastics key steps routines. Each age category has their own level of routine - year 2 Key steps 1, year 3/4 key steps 2 and year 5/6 key steps 3. routines are available from the competition, events and festivals webpage.

schools can enter up to 2 teams in each age category, when special requirements are requested upon entry please inidicate which age categories and the number of teams you will be entering.

Before attending the event, please make sure children have been taught the skills in a safe and progressive manner.
