Each session will be presented in a bespoke way that reflects the appropriate key stage that the NQT is currently teaching in. LA consultants and experienced teachers across the local authority will share good practice and helpful ideas to support NQTs in their first year of teaching. Sessions are designed in a way that will compliment school practice and support each individuals school policy in relation to teaching and learning.

Teams are 8-a-side and all players will bat and bowl.

Matches are played with plastic Kwik-cricket equipment and no wooden bats are permitted.

This event is part of the school games, winners will qualify for the London Youth Games

This session is for Year 2 Teachers from schools who have received notification that they will be part of the 2018/19 LA External moderation cycle.

It will be an opportunity for Teachers to meet the moderation team and to find out more about the external moderation process.

The session will outline proposed timings (as indicated on the letter informing schools of moderation) for the moderation visit and be a chance for Teachers to ask questions.

Families for Life provides a great opportunity to extend your work with parents, focussing on supporting families to ‘feel good and live well’. Families for Life is fully funded and comes with up to £400 if run by 2 members of staff Families for Life programmes include:
• Families for life: Family Kitchen - 6 weeks (2 – 11 years)
• Families for life Primary – 4 weeks (5 – 11 years)

The sessions are carefully planned to be engaging as well as fun to support families’ healthy lifestyles and include cooking and eating tasty meals together, learning about healthy eating and playing active games.

This training will equip staff to set up and deliver the two Families for Life programmes. The training covers the session outlines for all programmes and also includes a practical demonstration of cooking skills as part of the Family Kitchen training.
